Aston Villa
Ladbrokes share predictions for Aston Villa vs Fenerbahce in the Champions League
Both teams backed to score, with Aston Villa winning 2-1
Nicolas Jackson tipped for two shots on target, with Archie Brown picking up a card

Despite picking up just one victory from their opening six Premier League games, Aston Villa welcome Fenerbahce in the Champions League with sights set on making it two wins from two, as Unai Emery's side hunt for some crucial momentum.
The Villans kickstarted their European campaign with an impressive win at Club Brugge last month, while their Turkish visitors could only draw at home to Roma, and with Villa getting the better of Fener in last season's Europa League, it's the hosts who arrive as favourites once again - but could Ismail Kartal's side upset the odds in B6?
Below, you can read our in-depth Aston Villa vs Fenerbahce betting preview, with expert predictions, the latest live odds, and Bet Builder tips for the intriguing UCL clash.

With just one clean sheet from eight games in all competitions, Aston Villa haven't been overly convincing defensively up to this point, but with Unai Emery's side scoring 12 in their last five, they've definitely found their shooting boots - so we're tipping BTTS. Fenerbahce never need any help finding the net, with 13 goals in their last three matches, but you also have to go back to November 2024 for the last time Villa failed to score in a European tie at home, so we think attacks will come out on top here.
Leading the line for the hosts, Nicolas Jackson is finding his form with two goals in two either side of the international break, and having bagged his first Champions League goal for Villa in their opener, he's tipped to have a couple of efforts on target again on Wednesday night. The 25-year-old is averaging roughly a shot on target per 90 in the Premier League, and has had two in each of his last two games, so as he continues to build relationships with the likes of Johan Manzambi, Jackson seems primed to test Ederson at least twice.
Likely lining up at left-back for the visitors, Englishman Archie Brown will have his work cut out against Villa captain John McGinn, who wins more than three free kicks per 90 in the Premier League - and we're predicting a similar story at Villa Park. Brown commits more than a foul a game in the Turkish Super Lig, winning almost two tackles per 90 at the same time, so his front-foot defending is likely to be on display again here - but with McGinn shielding the ball like no one else can, we're expecting a frustrated Brown to pick up a card.
A win here would be Aston Villa's first at home in the 2026/27 season, but with Unai Emery's side not losing a single European match at Villa Park in the last two campaigns, Ladbrokes' experts are backing the fortress to stand strong again, with the hosts taking all three points. Fenerbahce have only lost one away game since April, and even won at Lyon to reach the UCL league phase, but last season's Europa League winners present a whole new challenge - and as they look to play themselves into form, it's favourites Villa who we're tipping in our Champions League Bet Builder.
