Manchester United could hardly ask for a tougher match to get them out of their poor run of form, with Atletico Madrid currently on the hunt for a fifth straight victory in all competitions. The Red Devils were poor again at home to Tottenham at the weekend, with their only victory in the last six games coming against minnows Sabah in the Champions League.
All the signs point to a victory for the hosts, which will pile further pressure on Michael Carrick's position after he became the favourite in the Premier League sack race betting.
An away trip to Galatasaray is not the easiest game for Barcelona, but they arrive in Turkey in formidable form, having won all nine of their games in all competitions this season. The LaLiga leaders hit five against Feyenoord in their Champions League opener against an opponent who were well beaten by Sporting CP in the first match.
We believe it will be a successful week for the Spanish sides, with Real Madrid matching their LaLiga rivals' efforts by also claiming three points. Real's task away to Roma may be the hardest, with the odds closely balanced for this clash, but they have enough quality amongst their ranks to secure six points from their opening two Champions League games.
Aston Villa's new-look side are still finding their feet this season and are yet to win a game at home but this game against Fenerbahce looks like their best chance yet to do so. The Villans were unlucky not to beat Brentford at the weekend and were 1-0 winners away to Fenerbahce in the Europa League last season on their way to winning the competition. Unai Emery knows how to grind out results in Europe and his side look likely to get the job done for our fourth acca pick.
