Bayern Munich made themselves favourites to win the Champions League last week thanks to a 2-1 win in Spain against Real Madrid, with Harry Kane and Michael Olise stealing the show.
Bayern raced into a 2-0 lead just after half-time, with many fans declaring that the tie was done. However, a Kylian Mbappe second-half finish gave us something to play for heading into the second-leg.

Fixture: Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid
Competition: Champions League
Date: Wednesday, 15 April, 2026
Kick-off: 20:00 BST
Venue: Allianz Arena
Our prediction: Bayern Munich 2-2 Real Madrid
Our predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Neuer / Laimer, Tah, Upamecano, Stanisic / Pavlovic, Kimmich / Diaz, Gnabry, Olise / Kane
Our predicted XI (4-4-2): Lunin / Carreras, Rudiger, Militao, Alexander-Arnold / Bellingham, Camavinga, Tchouameni, Valverde / Mbappe, Vinicius
Our official match prediction is for a draw, but to hedge our bets we're going with a 'double chance' pick in our bet builder, covering us for both a Bayern Munich win and a draw.
Real are going to have to go for this one, needing to overturn their one-goal deficit. However, we think Bayern simply have too much quality and strength in depth from the bench not to see this one through.
While they may not win, our team of experts can't see the away side losing this game, so our 'double chance' pick is for Bayern to either win or draw the game.
As noted, Real go into this game off the back of a 2-1 loss in Madrid, so they're going to have to go for Bayern in Germany if they want to progress to the semi-finals.
Both teams scored in the quarter-final first-leg, and we expect the same to happen when the two sides share the field for the second-leg this week.
Bayern have a potent attack but not exactly the most well-drilled defence, and the same can be said for Los Blancos. With it all still on the line, we're tipping both teams to score.
Since moving from Crystal Palace to Bayern Munich, Michael Olise has established himself as one of the best attackers in Europe.
This season though, the Frenchman has gone one step further. His performances in the Bundesliga and Champions League have led some to dub Olise a Ballon d'Or contender, and one of the best players in the world.
In nine starts in the Champions League this season, Olise has six assists. His average is even better when you look at the Bundesliga, with 18 assists in 27 games.
The right-winger is on fire right now, and after stealing the show in Madrid last time out, we expect him to do the same at the Allianz Arena this week.
Harry Kane is averaging over a goal a game in the Champions League so far this season. Like Olise, the Englishman is reminding fans that he is one of the best players on the planet right now.
He scored in Spain against Real Madrid last week, and with Los Blancos not possessing the most organised defence and midfield this season, we're expecting Kane to do the same in Germany this week.
So, as he always does, we're tipping Kane to score in the Champions League quarter-final second-leg against Real Madrid on April 15.
