Alvarez, who has said he wants to leave Atletico Madrid, looks set to remain in LaLiga
Arsenal are still given a strong chance, with Real Madrid, PSG and Chelsea classed as outsiders

Julian Alvarez looks set to reject Arsenal in favour of a move to Barcelona, according to Ladbrokes' odds for the Atletico Madrid striker's next club.
Alvarez, who reached the World Cup final with Argentina, has been the subject of strong interest this summer, and it seems Barca may be at the front of the queue, with a move to Atleti's LaLiga rivals priced at evens (1/1) with Ladbrokes.
That said, Premier League champions Arsenal are still given a fighting chance of landing the striker with odds of 5/2.
After two years at Atletico, Alvarez was the subject of significant interest at the start of this summer, with both Barcelona and Real Madrid seeing very public bids rejected by his club. That speculation only increased during the World Cup when the Argentine made it clear he wanted out of Atleti.
Midway through Argentina's campaign, Alvarez said:
This isn’t the time to talk about this, but I can’t hide either. I try to be an honest person. I’ve spoken with the people at Atletico Madrid, and I believe the best thing for everyone would be a transfer. I want to fulfil my dream.
A switch back to the Premier League for the former Manchester City man has also been mentioned, with league winners Arsenal reportedly very keen on landing the 26-year-old.
But if Ladbrokes' odds are anything to go by, a move to remain in Spain seems to be on the cards, with LaLiga champions Barcelona the firm favourites at 1/1.
A move to Arsenal cannot be fully ruled out, however, with the striker priced at only 5/2 to make his return to England with the champions, who are searching for an alternative frontman to current No9 Viktor Gyokeres.
Real Madrid made their interest in the striker clear earlier this summer but a move to Atletico's bitter rivals is given much longer odds than the two leadings clubs at 20/1.
Ladbrokes have only offered two other potential destinations for Alvarez, with double Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain and Premier League side Chelsea both 25/1 in the market.
All this suggests that if Alvarez is going anywhere this summer, it will be either Barcelona or Arsenal.
Alongside betting on Julian Alvarez's future, there are odds available for the next club of a whole host of football's biggest stars, including Bradley Barcola, John Stones and Mohamed Salah.
