Bayern Munich to win

Two of the favourites to win the Champions League outright meet on Wednesday and it wouldn't be a surprise if there's a repeat in the latter stages of the competition. Vincent Kompany will be without key man Michael Olise after his red card in that surprise draw in Norway, but Luis Diaz scored a hat-trick at the weekend and Harry Kane is Harry Kane.

The Premier League winners haven't quite looked themselves but eked out another narrow win at Nottingham Forest on Sunday thanks to Noni Madueke's late winner. They've kept two clean sheets in Europe so far but that will be a tough ask against a side that has scored at least five goals in every home game this season.

These two met at this stage of last year's Champions League, with Arsenal winning 3-1 at the Emirates. However, Bayern are a different beast at home. They're unbeaten in Munich since January and have not lost in their past 39 group/league phase Champions League matches at home. We're backing the Bundesliga champions to have just about enough to edge past the Gunners.

Over 2.5 goals

Bayern have scored a remarkable 23 goals in their four games at the Allianz Arena this season, after their 6-1 drubbing of RB Leipzig at the weekend. There have been over 2.5 goals in nine of Bayern's ten games this season, with this selection also landing in four of Arsenal's last five games. The last five meetings between the two have averaged 4.1 goals per game, so we feel confident backing over 2.5 goals in our Bayern vs Arsenal bet builder.

Harry Kane 2+ shots on target

Harry Kane bagged a brace last week against Viking, and also scored in the matchday one win over Bodo-Glimt. The England captain and Ballon D'Or favourite has nine goals and six assists in ten games this season, and the ex-Tottenham man has a fantastic record against his old rivals, with 15 career goals against Arsenal. We're tipping Kane to have at least two shots on target.

Bukayo Saka 1+ shots on target

Arsenal's star man Bukayo Saka looks to be approaching back to his best this season, but did have a quiet afternoon at the City Ground on Sunday. It was the first time this season Saka didn't have a shot on target, in his ninth outing, but we're backing him to bounce back against Bayern. Saka scored last week in the 3-0 win over Lille and is averaging 1.3 shots on target per game this season.
