The last time Man Utd won the Premier League, Sabah FK did not even exist. Formed in 2017, they remarkably won the Azerbaijan Premier League last season and their reward in their debut Champions League campaign is a trip to Old Trafford. Michael Carrick's side should really face no problems against this calibre of opposition, and we're predicting a comfortable 4-1 win on the night for Man Utd.
It's been a shaky start to the season defensively for Manchester United, with Carrick's men shipping at least two goals in all of their games so far. The former Middlesbrough manager appears unsure of his best defence, and may rest the likes of Luke Shaw - their only senior left-back. With that in mind, we're tipping Sabah to find the back of the net.
Marcus Rashford is still getting back up to full speed in a Man United shirt, but put in a really encouraging display down the left against Everton. He's still without a goal involvement this season, but we think that will change here. Rashford stole the show in the first match of last season's Champions League with a stunning brace at St. James' Park, and we reckon Rashford starts this campaign with a goal against Sabah.
Bryan Mbeumo has started the season in flying form, scoring in each of his last two games, including a superb solo strike at Everton last time out. We're backing Mbeumo to continue his good form by having at least two shots on target in his debut Champions League match.
