Dominic Solanke to score for Tottenham vs Coventry

Solanke appears to be establishing himself as Roberto De Zerbi's preferred number nine after starting Tottenham's last three Premier League games.

The striker was also selected as captain for last weekend's draw at Manchester United, where his late equaliser earned Spurs a point. That performance offers encouragement ahead of Coventry's visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Solanke has registered eight shots across his four starts in all competitions this season. He produced two efforts on target against Man United and missed two big chances in addition to scoring, suggesting he was capable of an even bigger return.

Coventry have conceded 16 goals across their eight competitive matches this season, keeping just one clean sheet. Six of those goals have come in their six Premier League fixtures.

Opposition strikers have regularly found opportunities against Coventry, particularly away from home. The starting centre-forward has scored in two of their three Premier League away matches and in three of their six league games overall.

With Solanke leading Tottenham's attack and Coventry allowing opposing strikers to get shots away, there is enough to like about the Spurs forward finding the net again on Monday night.
