The last fixture of Gameweek 4 of the 2026/27 Premier League season sees Leeds take on Newcastle at Elland Road. They're two clubs with a lot in common, both big one-club cities with passionate fanbases, and they also share an identical record so far, with one win and two draws from their three league games.

Leeds started with a 1-0 win at Forest, which has been followed by successive 1-1 draws with Brentford and Brighton, although they could be reeling from their dramatic 6-3 defeat to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup. Newcastle drew 2-2 in their opener with Liverpool before an impressive 2-0 win away to Spurs, then came from two goals down to draw with Bournemouth, and scraped through 1-0 midweek against Millwall.

Three of the last four meetings between Leeds and Newcastle have been draws, with the exception being last season's dramatic 4-3 at St. James' Park. Leeds are unbeaten in their last five league games at Elland Road, but Newcastle haven't lost to Leeds in any of the last six. Therefore, we think there's a decent chance this one ends all square again.
