Lions host Cowboys on Thursday night in huge game with NFC playoff implications
Big divisional games in Packers vs Bears and Ravens vs Steelers
No NFL team wants a bye week with only about a month to go in the regular season, but that’s the case for New England, the New York Giants, San Francisco and Carolina this week – the last of the byes. Here’s a look at all Week 14 games with NFL odds, played Sunday unless noted.
NFL Week 14 Predictions: Best Picks Against the Spread
Dallas Cowboys at Detroit Lions, Thursday
Point spread: Lions -3
Very convenient to schedule these teams on Thursday night this week because both hosted American Thanksgiving games last Thursday per usual, and this way none of that short-week nonsense. Dallas was a winner over Kansas City, 31-28, to become the first team in NFL history to beat the previous season’s two Super Bowl teams in a five-day span. The Cowboys are coming. Detroit, meanwhile, was upset by Green Bay, 31-24, with Pro Bowl wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown leaving with an ankle injury and in doubt here. Detroit has won 14 straight games following a loss, among the NFL’s longest-ever streaks.
Pick ATS: Detroit (alt -2.5)
Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons
Point spread: Seahawks -7.5
Seattle blasted Minnesota on Sunday, 26-0, for its first shutout win since 2015. That terrific Seahawks defence had five takeaways and the team’s first game with four interceptions since 2015. Atlanta was a minor upset loser Sunday, 27-24 at the New York Jets, and there’s just no chance Coach Raheem Morris is back next year. The Falcons have allowed at least 24 points in five of the past six (1-5 record) after doing so in only two of the first six (3-3 record).
Pick ATS: Seattle (alt -7)
Cincinnati Bengals at Buffalo Bills
Point spread: Bills -6
Joe Burrow returned from a nine-game injury absence on Thursday night in Week 13 and the difference was obviously immediately as Cincinnati was 32-14 upset winner in Baltimore to improve to 3-0 this year with Burrow and 1-8 without. No. 2 wideout Tee Higgins was out in the concussion protocol but good chance he returns. Buffalo rolled Sunday, 26-7, in Pittsburgh by rushing for 249 yards despite being down both injured starting offensive tackles. Josh Allen rushed for his 76th career TD to break the NFL record for a quarterback.
Pick ATS: Buffalo
Tennessee Titans at Cleveland Browns
Point spread: Browns -4.5
This might be very painful to watch offensively with rookie QBs in the Titans’ Cam Ward and Browns’ Shedeur Sanders. At one point, some thought those would be the top two picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. Ward did go first, but Sanders memorably slipped to Round 5. Tennessee lost its seventh in a row Sunday, 25-3 at home to Jacksonville. It was the 16th straight game the team trailed after three quarters. Sanders got the start at QB for Cleveland on Sunday, and the Browns were dominated in a 26-8 home loss to the Niners. Sanders completed 16 of 25 passes for 149 yards and one touchdown and will start again this week.
Pick ATS: Cleveland
Washington Commanders at Minnesota Vikings
Point spread: Commanders -1.5
Supposedly there is a chance for Commanders second-year star QB Jayden Daniels to return from a fairly serious elbow injury this week, but why the team would risk further injury with it at 3-9 and on a seven-game losing streak is rather baffling. Minnesota was without its second-year QB in J.J. McCarthy on Sunday in the concussion protocol, and the Vikings were embarrassed 26-0 in Seattle. Minnesota became the second team in the past 15 season with under 100 passing yards, zero pass TDs and at least two interceptions in back-to-back games.
Pick ATS: Minnesota
Miami Dolphins at New York Jets
Point spread: Dolphins -2.5
The Jets are showing some life as they won for the third time in five games Sunday, 27-24 over Atlanta on a 56-yard walk-off field goal. That snapped a 10-game losing streak for New York when scoring first. Miami won for the fourth time in five games Sunday, 21-17 over New Orleans. The Dolphins have allowed 17 or fewer points in three straight games for 1st time since 2023. The Jets lost, 27-21, in Miami on Monday night in Week 4 as Tua Tagovailoa had two TD passes.
Pick ATS: New York (alt +3)
New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Point spread: Bucs -8.5
The Saints had every chance for an upset win Sunday in Miami, but for their longer-term future it’s better they lost, 21-17, to stay in the running for the top pick in the 2026 draft. Star running back Alvin Kamara was out injured. Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield was in question Sunday with a shoulder injury but played and led a 20-17 win over Arizona. Tampa Bay is now 5-0 this year in games decided by three points or fewer. Tampa Bay routed New Orleans, 23-3, in Week 8 even though the Bucs totaled just 212 yards of offence.
Pick ATS: Tampa Bay
Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars
Point spread: Colts -1.5
First meeting of the season between the AFC South rivals, and they will face off again in Week 17. Indianapolis has been exposed on a two-game skid with the offence slowing in particular. After averaging 33.8 PPG in the first eight games and going 7-1, Indy is averaging 21.8 in the past four and is 1-4. Jacksonville barely broke a sweat Sunday in a 25-3 win at Tennessee. It was the team’s third straight win after the largest blown lead (19 points) in a loss in franchise history in Week 10 in Houston.
Pick ATS: Jacksonville
Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens
Point spread: Ravens -5.5
Massive game in the AFC North and first meeting between the clubs; they play again Week 18. The Steelers are completely falling apart and lost for the fifth time in seven games Sunday, 26-7, to Buffalo. The 249 yards they gave up rushing were the most at home since 1975. And QB Aaron Rodgers is now complaining about his receivers. No shot he’s back next year. The Ravens were shocked at home last Thursday night, 32-14 by Cincinnati but still control their destiny for the AFC North. Lamar Jackson had his first career game with zero TDs and at least three turnovers.
Pick ATS: Baltimore
Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders
Point spread: Broncos -8.5
The Broncos won their ninth game in a row on Sunday night, 27-26 in OT at Washington. Star defender Nick Bonitto batted down a Commanders’ game-winning 2-point try. Amazingly, Denver has trailed in each game of that streak, the longest such winning streak by a team in NFL history to trail in each. The Raiders’ offensive woes continued in a 31-14 home loss to the Chargers. The team’s six-game losing streak is the longest in Pete Carroll’s head coaching career. Denver won ugly over Las Vegas, 10-7, on Thursday in Week 10. The Raiders totaled 188 yards.
Pick ATS: Las Vegas (alt +9)
Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers
Point spread: Packers -6.5
The NFL’s oldest rivalry is set for the first time this season, with the rematch in Week 16. And it’s huge in the NFC North. The Bears got one of their most unlikely wins in recent history with a 24-15 upset in Philadelphia last Friday and now hold the NFC’s top seed thanks to the Rams’ stunning loss on Sunday. Chicago rushed for 281 yards, its second-most in a game the past 40 seasons. Green Bay was an upset winner last Thursday in Detroit, 31-24, to sweep that season series to hold a key tiebreaker. The Packers had two TDs on fourth-down plays.
Pick ATS: Green Bay
Los Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals
Point spread: Rams -8.5
First meeting of 2025 between NFC West rivals, with the rematch in Week 18. The Rams may have nothing to play for by then in a good way. Well, that chance diminished on Sunday when they were truly shocked at Carolina, 31-28, to fall out of the NFC’s top spot. Matthew Stafford entered with 28 straight TD passes without an INT, the longest streak in history, but had two picks and a lost fumble. Arizona lost its fourth in a row and yet another close game Sunday, 20-17 at Tampa Bay. That’s seven defeats by four points or fewer.
Pick ATS: Arizona
Houston Texans at Kansas City Chiefs
Point spread: Chiefs -3
Sunday night game and potentially very important in the AFC Wild-Card chase. Houston got a crucial win Sunday, 20-16 at Indianapolis. It has won each during a four-game winning streak by seven points or fewer. Starting QB C.J. Stroud returned from the concussion protocol vs. Indy and was a bit rusty. Kansas City took a crushing 31-28 loss in Dallas last Thursday and is really behind the 8-ball now. The team fell to 1-6 in one-score games in 2025 after 12-0 in 2024.
Pick ATS: Kansas City (alt -2.5)
Philadelphia Eagles at Los Angeles Chargers, Monday
Point spread: Eagles -3
The Eagles still control the NFC East, but their chances of the NFC’s top seed have taken a hit with shocking back-to-back losses. That usually good Philly defence was gashed for 281 yards in last Friday’s defeat to Chicago, the most allowed by the team since 2015. The Chargers saw QB Justin Herbert injure his left hand in the 31-14 win over the Raiders. Herbert had surgery on Monday but because it was his non-throwing hand, he’s expected to play. He might have to spend a lot of time in shotgun.
Pick ATS: Los Angeles (alt +3.5)
