Premier League 2026/27 relegation odds: Promoted trio tipped to go straight back down

Sunderland and Leeds finally bucked the trend of promoted sides going straight back down when they finished seventh and 14th respectively last term, but if the current odds are anything to go by, it will be normal service resumed in 2026/27.

Hull were the last team to secure their place in the Premier League after a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough in the play-off final, but Ladbrokes believe it could be a tough season ahead for the Tigers after being named as firm favourites for relegation.

Coventry are back in the top flight for the first time in 25 years after storming to the Championship title last term but Frank Lampard's side are currently second favourites for relegation. Ipswich closely follow in the odds, having secured promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt following their relegation in 2024/25.

Sunderland are next in the market, with the bookies tipping them to struggle in their second season as they attempt to juggle European football alongside their Premier League exploits.

Next comes Fulham as they begin a new era under Alvaro Arbeloa following Marco Silva's departure, with Leeds, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest also among the sides who could potentially be in danger.
