Erling Haaland has made a prolific start to the season, scoring nine goals in eight Premier League appearances and adding four more across two Champions League matches.

Serhou Guirassy to score in Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund

Serhou Guirassy may have registered only two goals in his opening seven Bundesliga matches, but his wider scoring record makes him an appealing option against Bayern Munich.

The Borussia Dortmund striker has added five goals across the Champions League and DFB Pokal, taking his total to seven in all competitions this season. He also remains Dortmund’s leading scorer.

Guirassy is averaging 3.3 shots per Bundesliga game, while his league xG figure of 4.13 suggests his output could have been higher.

Bayern have conceded in six consecutive matches, so Dortmund’s main striker should get opportunities at the Allianz Arena. Guirassy to score is the selection.

Marcus Thuram to score in AC Milan vs Inter Milan

Marcus Thuram has taken on added attacking responsibility for Inter Milan and heads into the derby with five goals from eight Serie A appearances this season.

The French forward is averaging four shots per league match, scoring five times across his last seven appearances, including a run of three consecutive scoring games before Inter’s most recent match.

AC Milan have conceded 11 goals in nine Serie A fixtures, with nine of those coming across their last four matches.

With Thuram regularly involved in Inter’s best attacking moments, there is enough to like about his chances of scoring in the Milan derby.
