Sean Levey has four rides at Ascot on Friday, May 8. The Ladbrokes ambassador previews them all in his latest exclusive blog.

Tarrant - Ascot - 2.55 race odds
Brosay - Ascot - 3.25 race odds
Secret Santa - Ascot - 4.00 race odds
Seu Jo - Ascot - 4.35 race odds
I start Friday with Tarrant in the Maiden Fillies' Stakes, and she's a really nice filly, owned by Julie Wood. Obviously she's started at Newbury, because that's where Julie likes to go with all of her horses; there and any local track, really. So she's found herself at Ascot on her second outing, off the back of what looked like a good race last time. The first and second home are held in high regard by their yards, and while we thought we'd run a nice race, we were actually quite surprised with how well she ran.
The step up in trip will help her, and Ascot is the perfect track for her. We think off the back of that run at Newbury, she should be here to run a big race.
Brosay is next for us, and he's trained by young Charlie Pike. They've been doing really well with their horses, and they supplemented one to run in the Guineas, so obviously they thought quite a lot of him. Brosay is definitely one they thought a lot of at the start of last season. Granted, he's been performing a little underwhelmingly on the last couple of occasions, but I'd imagine they're looking for a chance to redeem him, in some sense.
He's got a nice draw here, the trip is absolutely perfect for him, and I'm hopeful he's turned a corner. We'll find out on the day.
Secret Santa is another for Julie Wood, and he's one who turned up at all Class A racecourses as a juvenile, and we thought he'd get his head in front on a couple of occasions, but it just didn't seem to happen for him. You know, maybe he was a little bit weak behind the saddle as a two-year-old, and maybe a lack of maturity didn't serve him on the track.
But his work at home has been great, and we're under the impression that 81 is a workable mark, considering. He's going to take his chance in the handicap here, and six furlongs is absolutely perfect for him. He's got a high draw, which is normally where you want to be at Ascot. His work has been very good though, like I said, so I'm really looking forward to this one... he'd be my best chance of the day.
I finish the day with Seu Jo, a French horse who Jim Boyle has just taken on. Obviously, he did all of his running in France last year, and he did win last time out over there, in a claiming stakes. Jim is having a fantastic year so far, and he just had a very good runner in the Guineas who finished fourth. Jim's been a great trainer for years who is very good at placing his horses. I'd imagine he's done the same with this one.
Obviously I'm not to know how well he's done at home, but I'd imagine Jim has him in the right place here.
