Sean Levey has three rides at Doncaster on Saturday, June 6. The Ladbrokes ambassador previews them and gives his thoughts on the Epsom Derby all in his latest exclusive blog.

Deadline - Doncaster - 3.45 race odds
Eminency - Doncaster - 4.25 race odds
Amelia's Joy - Doncaster - 5.00 race odds
I start Saturday with Deadline in the EBF Novice Stakes. He's not one I know a whole lot about if I'm honest, but this track and trip is a good place for him to get started for Warren Greatrex. Warren's been aiming at a lot of Flat races recently, and he's been quite meticulous about where he sends his horses, so just with that alone in mind, I'd imagine we've got a good chance here.Â
Eminency is a nice horse of Stuart Williams' who ran really well last time out at Newmarket. Hopefully the ground stays in his favour, as he has a nice turn of foot. The yard are in good form when it comes to their handicappers, so fingers crossed for a good result here.
My last of the day is Amelia's Joy for Michael Herrington, and the last time I rode her she won at Wolverhampton, quite convincingly as well, I thought. Herrington is a trainer who has been doing extremely well under the radar this year, and he's been unlucky in some of the nicer races recently.
This filly has been doing really well and is one I'm definitely looking forward to riding again. I'm hoping she runs a massive race.Â
If we're purely going on the Trials alone, then it looks like Ryan Moore and Aidan O'Brien will clean up both the Oaks and the Derby. They were very dominant in all of the Trials, and if I was to pick one out of the Coolmore team's line-up, then it would be the favourite here: Benvenuto Cellini. He looks the perfect candidate; really well-balanced, moves beautifully, has plenty of stamina and a good turn of foot. That's the kind of combination you need for an Epsom Derby winner. Looking at all of them, he's the one.
Other than that, you've got Item, who won at York last month. He's a very nice horse, but quite a big horse, very rangy, and I don't know if he'll be nimble enough to handle Epsom. Don't get me wrong, he's a lovely, big, galloping horse, I just wonder whether he was better suited to the track at York. There'll be a massive question mark over how well he can handle Epsom.
Then there's Maltese Cross, for William Haggas - he's shown that he's a very decent horse who wears his heart on his sleeve. At the same time, you can't help but feel he's looked a little bit workmanlike, even when he's got the job done. It's hard to know where his limit is, and it's probably easier to go against him when you look at the favourite he's up against here.
