Amirite is now the joint-favourite for the wide-open Topham Chase with Ladbrokes.

Following the field’s confirmation, Amirite was slashed from 12/1 to 8/1, making him the joint-favourite alongside James du Berlais, who quickly rode a wave of punter support to the top of the betting from 16/1 after last month’s entries announcement.
Willie Mullins' Blue Lord was another big mover on Wednesday, halving to 10/1 from 20/1. Meanwhile, last year’s winner, Arizona Cardinal, wasn’t declared.
Cal Gildart of Ladbrokes said: “James du Berlais looked primed to go off as favourite for the Topham. But with the ever-popular Rachael Blackmore set to ride the favourably handicapped Amirite, not to mention the presence of several Grade 1 winners, the Grand National might have a challenger for most exciting race at Aintree this weekend.”

Ladbrokes has valuable insights into the favourites heading into Saturday's Grand National at Aintree, as well as a beginners guide to betting on the race for those new to the scene.
