Glorious Goodwood Festival gets started this week and Ladbrokes ambassador Sean Levey has three rides across Day One and Two. The leading jockey gives you the lowdown on all three in his latest blog.

Illinois is my only ride of the day at Goodwood on Tuesday, and this is an older horse who has done extremely well for himself. He found back a bit of form when winning at Ascot last time, albeit in a slightly lesser race. He's back in a Group 1 on Tuesday, in the Al Shaqab Goodwood Cup Stakes, and this is a track where he's shown us he enjoys things. He was slightly beaten in this race by Scandinavia last year, and Scandinavia will go off as favourite here again on Tuesday.
This is a nice ride to have in what will be a very competitive race.
Pershaada ran a massive race at Ascot last time, and showed a lot of speed there. Her first win came at Goodwood, a couple of months ago where again, she showed she had plenty of speed. She's receiving some weight back on the day, which will be helpful for us. I'd imagine she won't be far away under the current conditions.
Silver Wraith is my second and last ride of the day at Goodwood on Wednesday, and he's quite a nicely handicapped horse who has been running really well. I know Emma Lavelle likes to pick out these sort of races, and these horses are trained for these occasions. Her horses are in good form right now, and so I'd imagine we've got a good chance here, because she'll no doubt be in great condition.
