Having played back-to-back 90 minutes against Atletico Madrid and Leeds, Andrey Santos seems to be convincing manager Michael Carrick that he can help turn Manchester United's fortunes around in the middle of the park - but having picked up his first yellow card of the season on Sunday, we're predicting another one here.
The Brazilian is committing just over a foul per game in the Premier League, and is making an eye-catching 12 defensive contributions per 90, but with such high involvement, the potential for mistakes is equally high - especially against tricky players like Nico Paz and Anastasios Douvikas.
Santos certainly hasn't ripped up any trees at United thus far, but is often being left to marshal a wide-open midfield with the likes of Youri Tielemans and Bruno Fernandes advancing, so our experts are expecting a tricky evening to bring a booking - even if we are backing Man United to go on and win the game.
The second Brazilian midfielder to be tipped in our unique Champions League treble is Joao Gomes, who will likely start in the heart of Aston Villa's midfield when they host Viking FK on Wednesday night - but with his dogged style already proving excessive at times, we're backing him to be shown a card.
The 25-year-old is averaging almost two fouls committed per game in the Premier League this season, already picking up three yellow cards in four games (including two on the opening day), and with his average rising to almost 3.5 fouls conceded in the Champions League, it's little wonder he's among the bookies' favourite for a card on Wednesday night.
Gomes has been tasked with bringing the bite to Villa's midfield, and it will likely have a hugely positive impact against a clear underdog here, but all it takes is one mistimed tackle to get the referees attention - especially in Europe.
Rounding off our Brazilian trio is Arsenal's Bruno Guimaraes, who brings a real reputation with him from his Newcastle days, so the tough-tackling 28-year-old completes our Champions League special cards bet.
The £75million man has made a bright start to life in North London, with a couple of important goals already, but he's also completing almost nine defensive contributions per 90 in the Champions League, committing almost a foul per game at the same time - so he's always heavily involved in the action.
We're tipping him to get the nod to start alongside Declan Rice, but against such a strong opponent in Bayern Munich - who will look to have the lion's share of possession - there will be plenty of defending (and tackling) to do for the Gunners, which opens the door wide open for a strong tackle or two from Bruno Guimaraes.
