Ladbrokes brings you its preview of the 2026 Wimbledon Ladies' Singles final
It's an all-Czech affair as Karolina Muchova takes on Linda Noskova
Muchova predicted to win in three sets

Ladbrokes previews the 2026 Wimbledon Ladies' Singles final on Saturday, July 11, as Karolina Muchova takes on Linda Noskova in an all-Czech affair.
Muchova is the narrow favourite to lift the trophy at odds of 8/13, with Noskova priced at 6/5 to win Wimbledon.
It's an unexpected final between the 9th-seed Noskova and 10th-seed Muchova, and for the second consecutive Major we'll see a debut Grand Slam champion on the women's side of the draw, after Mirra Andreeva won at Roland Garros.
Muchova and Noskova were doubles partners at the Paris Olympics, and it's the first Wimbledon final featuring women from the same country since Venus and Serena Williams back in 2009. In the head-to-head, the two Czech stars have only played against each other once professionally, with Muchova winning in three sets in the third round of last year's US Open.
It's the second Grand Slam final that Muchova has reached, having lost to Iga Swiatek in the 2023 French Open final. She's made the semi-finals of a Major on three other occasions, but this is the first time that Noskova has made it past the quarter-finals at a Slam.
Both players arrived at Wimbledon in good form on grass after winning warm-up tournaments, with Muchova victorious in Bad Homburg and Noskova winning in Berlin. They've continued that form into SW19, with each player dropping just two sets all tournament, taking advantage of another wide-open women's draw that saw the likes of Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina and Aryna Sabalenka unexpectedly beaten.
Muchova has beaten three Grand Slam champions in a row to reach the final, firstly beating compatriot Barbora Krecjikova in the last 16, before an impressive straight sets win over a resurgent Naomi Osaka in the quarter-finals. She beat Coco Gauff in a thrilling semi-final, winning a third-set tiebreak 12-10.
Noskova had to come through a match-deciding tiebreak of her own in the third round against Sorana Cristea, and hasn't looked back since, not dropping a set in her three victories of Madison Keys, Elise Mertens and Marta Kostyuk. At 21 years old, Noskova is eight years Muchova's junior, but playing with a dangerous freedom.
The odds reflect the fact that this is an extremely evenly-matched encounter between two players that, even if they've only competed in one professional match, know each other extremely well. Muchova is battle-hardened after victories over Osaka and Gauff, but Noskova may be the fresher of the two, although both have played a similar amount of time on court.
The 21-year-old is playing with fearlessness of youth, but Muchova's previous experience in a Grand Slam final may serve her well here, and spur her on to avenge that defeat. It could go either way, and Noskova's time will certainly come again, but we're predicting Muchova to win in three sets to claim her first Major title.
Our prediction: Muchova 2-1 Noskova
