Ladbrokes brings you its preview of the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles final
2025 winner Jannik Sinner faces French Open champion Alexander Zverev
Sinner predicted to win

Ladbrokes brings you its full preview of the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles final, as defending champion Jannik Sinner takes on Alexander Zverev, who recently won his first Major title at Roland Garros.
Sinner is the favourite to win the match at odds of 1/5, with Zverev priced at 10/3 to win consecutive Grand Slams.
Reigning champion Jannik Sinner returns to the Wimbledon final after producing his best performance of the tournament to dismantle Novak Djokovic in straight sets. The world number one opted not to play a warm-up event on grass after his shock second round French Open exit, but barring a five-set scare against Miomir Kecmanovic in the opening round, he has looked untouchable at the All England Club. Sinner has not dropped a set since then and now stands one victory away from defending his Wimbledon crown.
Alexander Zverev finally won his maiden Grand Slam title by winning the French Open last month and has carried that momentum into the best Wimbledon campaign of his career. The German had never previously progressed beyond the fourth round at SW19, but has dropped just two sets on the way to his first final. Zverev backed up an impressive quarter-final win over Taylor Fritz by ending British wildcard Arthur Fery's dream run in straight sets, putting himself within touching distance of a second successive major title.
Sinner leads the head-to-head with Zverev 10-4, with the Italian winning each of the last nine meetings between the two. However, this will be their first match played on grass.
They've met four times in Grand Slams, splitting them two apiece. In the only Major final they've contested, Sinner won the 2025 Australian Open final in straight sets.
That was one of four Grand Slam titles Sinner has collected, while Zverev picked up his first at Roland Garros in June.
The top two seeds have played to form and meet each other in the final, with Zverev hoping to avenge his Australian Open final defeat in 2025. The German has appeared liberated by lifting his first Grand Slam title in Paris, but faces an uphill battle to overturn his run of form against Sinner.
The Italian has dropped just two sets to Zverev in a streak of nine consecutive wins, and the defending Wimbledon champion has now won thirteen games in a row on grass. Both players have been strong on serve and it wouldn't be a surprise to see a tiebreak.
Ultimately, Sinner has been the man to beat on tour with Alcaraz out, and Zverev is yet to prove he has the answers against him. We're predicting Jannik Sinner to win back-to-back Wimbledon titles in four sets.
Prediction: Jannik Sinner 3-1 Alexander Zverev
