Ladbrokes shares one bold prediction for every single side ahead of the 2026/27 Premier League season
Chelsea backed to have a storming 2026, with Tottenham picking up silverware
Liverpool duo backed to impress, with Kai Havertz also tipped to have a great season

Ahead of the 2026/27 Premier League season, Ladbrokes shares one bold prediction for every single side, from goalscoring records to shock managerial departures.
We did this last year and ended up getting a fair few right, so our crystal balls are back out again as the new campaign edges ever-closer. Some are definitely bolder than others, but without further ado, here are our shouts for the 2026/27 Premier League.
Kai Havertz only featured in 12 Premier League games last season for the eventual champions, but in a campaign where he'll be hoping to play upwards of 30, goals are on the cards for the big German.
An excellent strike in the Champions League final, a decent World Cup, and a goal in the Community Shield all suggest he has what it takes to displace Viktor Gyokeres as Mikel Arteta's first-choice striker, and with so many chances being provided for him, we're backing Havertz to bag plenty of goals - outscoring every other Arsenal player this term.
With 91 Premier League goals to his name, Ollie Watkins is within touching distance of the league's 100 Club, and having scored 51 times in the last three PL seasons, we're tipping him to reach the impressive milestone this term.
The England international ended last season in emphatic form, scoring seven in his last six, and has never failed to score fewer than 15 goals in a Premier League season under the guidance of Unai Emery. There's still talk of a move away, but if he sticks around, Watkins will score his 100th Premier League goal for Aston Villa.
An excellent 2025/26 campaign saw Bournemouth secure European football for the very first time, finishing sixth after going 17 games unbeaten between January and May - but we aren't so optimistic this year.
The loss of Andoni Iraola could easily turn out to be a huge blow for the Cherries, and a relatively long-term injury to Junior Kroupi seriously weakens their frontline, so they could struggle to find their early rhythm - particularly with a trip to the Etihad kicking off their season.
Brentford proved a lot of people wrong when they finished in the top half last season, and with Keith Andrews now getting more respect, we think he could pick up a Manager of the Month Award at some point.
It wouldn't be a surprise to see Brentford win all their games in August, or go unbeaten in a tricky January, and if the Bees can repeat last season's European challenge this time around, the manager is likely to get his deserved flowers.
Jack Hinshelwood was named in Thomas Tuchel's provisional 55-man squad ahead of the 2026 World Cup, and as a key player for the Under 21s, he's already well involved in the international scene - so we think he'll feature in a senior squad in 2026/27.
The Brighton youngster has proven his versatility on the South coast, ending last season in excellent goalscoring form, and with Hinshelwood now having the chance to compete in Europe too, Tuchel will certainly be keeping a close eye on him.
With no European football to distract them, and an exciting new manager at the helm, Chelsea could be a serious problem for the rest of the Premier League this season - and with so much optimism around the club, we're tipping the Blues to be top of the league at Christmas.
Big new signings like Morgan Rogers and Maxence Lacroix undoubtedly improve them at both ends of the pitch, and with Cole Palmer fresh off a football-less summer, there's potential for Chelsea to really click - topping the proverbial tree in a season where they carry real aspirations of clinching the title.
Last season's runaway Championship winners are back with a point to prove, and under the stewardship of Premier League legend Frank Lampard, a lot of people will be very interested in their progress - but we think a difficult season might be hindered by several dismissals.
The Sky Blues picked up three reds on their way to the title last season, and will have no choice but to carry that bite into the 2026/27 campaign if they want to impose themselves against established Premier League sides. They could surprise a few with their attacking quality, but we're tipping Coventry to get more red cards than anyone else.
A 15th-placed finish was far below Crystal Palace's expectations last season, but a triumphant Conference League campaign made that all rather secondary - and we're predicting a similar story this term.
The Eagles have proven that they're a very handy team in Europe, and with new manager Pierre Sage bringing genuine excitement, there's no reason why they can't compete for more continental silverware - but we think it'll harm their league form, with Palace looking nervously over their shoulders for much of 2026/27.
Only Yakubu, Romelu Lukaku, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have scored 15 goals in a Premier League season for Everton since the turn of the millennium, but we're making a bold prediction that Thierno Barry will join that exclusive list this term.
Eight PL goals in his debut campaign was a decent start, and he's ready to become the main man this year, with a couple of pre-season goals proving his potential. It might not be an amazing season for the Toffees, but we're tipping Barry to find some real form.
A lot of people are expecting Fulham to struggle this season - including one of our own expert writers, as seen in our Premier League predictions - and we can see them getting off to a terrible start.
Chelsea, Sunderland, Palace, Liverpool, and Man United are extremely tough opponents to kick off against, and with the Cottagers only picking up two points from their opening three games last time out, we're tipping another slow start for Alvaro Arbeloa's men.
Not many people are giving Hull much hope of avoiding relegation from the Premier League this season, with the Tigers already favourites for the drop according to the bookies, and we think it could be a campaign to forget.
Even getting promoted came as a huge surprise, let alone staying up, and with a real lack of match-winners in the squad, we're predicting that Sergej Jakirovic's side will become one of just eight teams in Premier League history to get fewer than 20 points.
From one newly promoted side to another, our experts are tipping Ipswich to learn from their top-flight visit a couple of seasons ago and survive relegation - confirming their safety on the final day of the Premier League season.
The Tractor Boys end the campaign at home to an Everton side who will likely have nothing to play for at that stage, and with Ipswich having done enough to stay afloat in the previous 37 games, Ladbrokes is backing Gary O'Neil's men to finish the season in style.
This may raise some eyebrows following Leeds' marquee signing of James Trafford, but with quite a concerning lack of depth in defence, we don't think the shot-stopper will be able to do too much with the potential bombardments he may face from time to time.
It's yet to be seen how the Yorkshire outfit cope with the loss of Pascal Struijk, and with Daniel Farke's sides often shipping goals in the Premier League, this prediction has legs - even if Leeds are now in possession of England's future number one.
Last season didn't go to plan for either Alexander Isak or Florian Wirtz in a Liverpool shirt, but with a new manager and renewed hopes, we expect them both to be something near their best in the 2026/27 campaign.
We've all seen what an in-form Isak can do in the Premier League, and with Wirtz starting to step up as a key man throughout pre-season, the signs are all pointing towards a lethal double act. They need to stay fit, which certainly isn't a given, but if this duo can hit their stride, then 10 goals & 10 assists is on the cards.
Erling Haaland has already broken the record for most goals in a Premier League season with a staggering 36 back in 2022/23, and while he may not quite match those numbers, we are tipping him to enjoy another fruitful campaign - scoring at least 30 goals again.
A prolific World Cup followed another Golden Boot-winning Premier League season, and with the big Norwegian already closing in on 200 Manchester City goals, there's no sign of him slowing down even under a new manager. He hasn't hit 30 league goals since his debut campaign, but we're backing him in 2026/27.
Man United score a lot of goals, but without the commanding presence of Casemiro in the middle of the park or a truly top-class keeper, we think they could concede quite a lot as well - so we're tipping the Red Devils' matches to feature more goals than any other side across the season.
Old Trafford has long been the home of entertainment in the Premier League, and with so much attacking quality, that's bound to be the case again. But visiting teams arrive with hope these days, and with United's backline looking far from convincing in their last pre-season match, we're tipping goals galore in their games this season.
Life at St. James' Park started pretty well for Nick Woltemade, with four league goals before the end of October, but an own goal in December's Wear-Tyne Derby then set the tone for a disappointing few months - so we can smell the end of his Newcastle career this term.
The Magpies' forward options aren't overly inspiring heading into the new season, but with just two goals for club & country in 2026 so far, the big German isn't exactly proving to be their shining light. A poor start to the 2026/27 campaign could see Woltemade lose all confidence, and in a season where we're expecting Newcastle to struggle, our experts are tipping the 24-year-old to leave the club.
With another new manager at the helm, Nottingham Forest will be hoping to put last season's 16th-place finish behind them, and having just won former club Crystal Palace their first-ever trophies, we're tipping Oliver Glasner to guide the Reds back into Europe.
Forest enjoyed a good run in the Europa League last season, losing in the semi-finals to eventual winners Aston Villa, and will be desperate to avoid another bottom-half battle this time around - and with only the Premier League to focus on, we think they'll come good again.
Sunderland's first season back in the Premier League could hardly have gone much better, with Europa League qualification setting the seal on a campaign in which they also won both derbies - but that could start to work against manager Regis Le Bris.
The added pressure of midweek football is sure to test a relatively thin Sunderland squad, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see the Black Cats' league form drop off as a result. Finding the balance is incredibly tough, as Eddie Howe has found out just over the road, so we can see a few bad results potentially spelling the end for Le Bris.
Spurs can't be as bad as they've been the last couple of years again... can they? With Roberto De Zerbi being allowed to splash a ridiculous amount of cash, Tottenham fans will be understandably optimistic heading into the new season - and we can see them picking up a major trophy.
It obviously can't be a European trophy, and they're not winning the league, so it's an FA Cup or Carabao Cup triumph on the cards according to our experts, with the north Londoners building on their Europa League win from 2024/25 - silencing a lot of doubters in the process.
